Blue Monkey is a casual fun restaurant/club that attracts singles. They provide live entertainment, music and TV viewing. The decor is relaxed with bright lights and warm earth tones. The burgers and steak sandwiches are excellent! Great selection of beers and alcohol at value prices. Good live music at nite. Fun place!

Myself and 5 of my friends heard about this place and thought it would be great for brunch. I can say the only positive thing that I experienced here was the food was good. Our waitress was completely rude! It seemed that she was only rude to us bc the other table seated in her section was treated better by her. The drinks we had were completely watered down and when we sent two of them back, our waitress says, "Well, they can't be watery! I watched the bartender make them myself." That is not good customer service! She didn't say, "Oh, I'm so sorry. Let me see if I can get you something else." We were not rude to her at all. All we asked was could we possibly try something different. It took forever to get our food. The waitresses other table got their food first, which was not good since we were there way before and ordered way before them. We decided to speak with the manager, which was pointless as well. We told her that the waitress had been completely rude to us. The manager then asked us if our food was good. We said yes. Then she said,"Well, then I don't see what the problem is then." I mean come on! We weren't complaining about the food! We were complaining about the crappy service provided by our rude waitress. I have to say that I don't think I could give this place a second chance and I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are different race. I say that only bc I am white and my friends are black. There were no other black people in this place, which is not an indication of racism, but what is the indication is that the waitress's other table was white and I am white and she seemed to be better attentive to them and myself.

I would recommend this business to everyone in the area!! Great people!! If ever there was anyone to do business, it would be here!!

This Blue Monkey is one heck of a place to eat, they offer wonderful menu items for all ages. I personally love their crab cake appetizer, it is one of the best crab cakes I have ever had. And you just simply can not go to this place with out having one of their brownies, these things are huge and to die for, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you are in heaven on a plate! THis is one of the places we hit up on the weekends with friends for lunch and I would recommend them to any one.

Ugh. The neighborhood is right; the atmosphere is wrong. If your idea of a great night out is by being ogled by a bunch of overgrown frat boys in a place so noisy you can't have a conversation, then this is the place for you.
